Our Love Story

Jamie: Imagine being completely content with living single for the rest of your life. Doing what you want, when you want, and spending your days spoiling your children. Time spent volunteering fills ones heart with joy. While volunteering, you meet gentle green-eyed man that captures your ears through his story telling. Which is actually funny since he doesn’t have any ears. Several mutual friends, Shilo and I would grab dinner or drinks after volunteering. We all enjoyed each other’s company. About a year after meeting, Shilo was writing his first book. I enjoyed reading the first draft to give my opinion and edits. I earned my Undergraduate in education, so I felt confident in my feedback. As, Steel Will, was being released, I was ready for a career change. I took on the challenge of managing his speaking events and books signings. Little did I know, it was the beginning of a lifelong relationship. Stay tuned as the rest of the story unveils…

Shilo: Ditto to Jamie’s statement. I had it all planned: single for the rest of my life or at least until I met the ‘one!’ It turned out, the one, was beside me for quite a while but my desire for bachelorhood blinded me. It took a famous actor asking Jamie out. In the same breath, he turned to me and asked if she and I were together. For the first time, I saw the value of the person standing beside me. Colleague, friend, confidant, and life coach was how I had seen her up to that point. Then, like a lightning bolt, I knew she was the ‘one’. I asked her out, but she turned me down the first few times. She said “we need to remain professional.” Obviously, there is more to the story. Join us on this adventure.
